Two companies. Two sectors. One common goal.


At first sight, Euro-Labor GmbH and Microbify GmbH cover two completely different topics: Failure analysis and materials investigation vs. microbiology.


Together with Jens Jรผrgensen and Gregor Manke, we took the chance to discuss potential synergies and found a common ground: microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC). On the one hand, this type ofcorrosion is still neglected in many industries. On the other hand, MIC is seldom the sole problem of material failure or corrosion issues. ย ย 


Professional failure analysis brings it all together: It is a complex combination of correct sample preparation, sophisticated chemical and (electron)microscopic analyses, as well as asking the right questions.


In order to comprehensively understand complex systems, we need interdisciplinary teams and approaches. Therefore, we are delighted to announce that Euro-Labor GmbH and Microbify GmbH have started a collaboration to enhance performance, portfolio, and quality.
