We are looking for a PhD student with a passion for archaeal biofilms to start on 1 September 2024!

Many microorganisms are capable of forming complex biofilms. However, as in so many areas, archaea in particular are little studied. Would you like to find out whether and how certain properties of archaeal biofilms could be used for biotechnological applications? Then our PhD position within the MSCA doctoral network ARCTECH is just right for you!

ARCTECH is a consortium of 8 academic and 3 industrial partners funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe program as a Marie Curie Doctoral Network. Within this network you have the unique opportunity to learn new techniques in laboratories abroad, to go into depth in workshops with industry and to gain interdisciplinary knowledge and experience that goes far beyond a classical education.
