Biomethanation
Microbify works with methane-producing microorganisms, so-called "methanogenic archaea". They produce green natural gas (methane) from hydrogen and carbon dioxide in a short time and high quality.
Unlike fossil natural gas, which is limited as a resource and releases additional carbon dioxide when burned, our biological system is inexhaustible and renewable.
Underground methanation in natural gas storages
Natural gas reservoirs provide a natural habitat for methanogens. The organisms are frugal: they can easily survive even several months without "food" (hydrogen and carbon dioxide) and simply start growing again when fresh substrate is made available to them.
